On this Spectacular Switzerland guided tour, you'll enjoy Switzerland's stunning mountains and lakes—with overnights in Zürich, Geneva, the Gruyère area, the Interlaken area, and Lucerne. The highlight of this tour is the time spent in the Interlaken area. The town is nestled between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz and is surrounded by three mighty mountains: Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. From Interlaken, Globus has arranged an unforgettable rack railway trip to the "Top of Europe," a high Alpine wonderland of ice and snow. Here, at the amazing Jungfraujoch, Europe's highest railway station at 11,332 feet, you can enjoy the Alpine Sensation, the Panorama 360° Experience, the Ice Palace, and you can also take the elevator to the Sphinx Observatory.

We invite you to visit the magnificent castle in Gruyères, where you’ll walk through eight centuries of architecture, history, and culture. You'll also enjoy lunch with local specialties and a traditional dessert with meringue and double crème at the castle.

You'll also spend time in Geneva, Switzerland's most international and second-largest city, which has a fantastic lakeside setting and breathtaking panoramas of the Alps. Here, you'll have guided sightseeing of the city and a visit to the Reformation Park. Enjoy a chocolate tasting at the famous Maison Cailler in Broc, and stop for an orientation in Gstaad, one of Switzerland's most famous skiing resorts and a popular destination for international celebrities. In Lucerne, enjoy a guided walking tour that includes Chapel Bridge, a picturesque covered wooden bridge and the impressive Lion Monument.

These are just a few of the highlights on this Spectacular Switzerland guided tour – truly an unforgettable experience!

 Tour Director

With Globus, there’s no better way to get to know your destination than through the eyes of your Tour Director. Averaging over a decade... we’d like you to meet a Tour Director, who is representative of the type of expert that will be with you on your vacation.

MARIA PASCUAL

Escorting tours for more than 15 years

I have had the privilege of being a Tour Director for many years and even after all this time, there is still so much to share. I believe traveling is a learning experience. You learn about places, cultures, history, and of course, yourself. When traveling through Central and Western Europe, I love to help my groups learn by sharing what I know with them. What I love most is what they share with me. At the end of the trip, I have the feeling we have enriched each other's lives.
