Spain is a country steeped in history, and on this Spain tour, you’ll have an opportunity to see some of its historical sights as well as its well-known museums and churches.

Tour highlights include a visit to Madrid’s Prado Museum, one of the world’s most prestigious art museums. Enjoy a guided walking tour of Toledo, a city that has been influenced by three cultures—Arabic, Jewish, and Christian—and see the architectural styles left behind by each. While in Toledo, visit the Church of Santo Tomé with one of El Greco’s most famous paintings. Also visit Granada, a city with more than 1,000 years of recorded history, and visit the Alhambra Complex. In Seville, visit the Alcazar, founded in the 11th century as a Moorish fortress. Time on the Costa del Sol gives you a chance to relax and enjoy the sandy beaches.

On this Spain tour, Globus has also arranged some out-of-the-ordinary experiences for you. For example, Jerez is famous for its sherry wines, and you'll visit a sherry bodega for a tasting, along with tapas. Throughout your tour, you’ll be accompanied by an expert Tour Director and Local Guides who will bring each city to life with in-depth, firsthand knowledge of the cities' histories, sights, cultures, and secrets. They may even teach you a few words of Spanish!

At the end of your tour, travel via high-speed AVE train to Barcelona for three nights and guided sightseeing, including a visit to Sagrada Familia Basilica, Gaudi’s masterpiece. All services in Barcelona, including Local Host assistance, are provided by Monograms. Between the sights, museums, scenery, and experts, it's a Spectacular Spain vacation.
