Night Tour Valle Escondida

If you are a true nature lover, it should come as no surprise that what you see during the day in the rainforest isn't the same as at night. This tour gives you the opportunity to see nocturnal animals that only appear after nightfall. Starting around 5 pm, view the gorgeous sunset before venturing into the rainforest. As you start walking, your guide will explain the different sounds of the rainforest and to which animal they belong. From this moment on, it's important to keep your eyes open for what might appear from darkness. In the rainforest you can find a wide variety of nocturnal animals: spiders (most commonly, tarantulas), tree frogs, sloths, armadillos, and snakes, to mention a few. Listen to your guide's explanation of these animals, keeping very still so you don't scare them off. Your nocturnal hike will take about two hours, after which you will be left with a completely different perspective of Costa Rican wildlife.
