Full Day Mekong Delta Excursion Enjoy a cruise on the great Mekong River. Travel by road out of Saigon south to My Tho, gateway to the Mekong Delta and Vietnam's "rice bowl". Board your boat and travel to an island in the middle of the delta where you visit a local orchard and family's home, enjoy their hospitality, and share some tea or rice wine. Stop for a tasty Vietnamese lunch on your way back to Saigon.

Kuang Si Waterfalls Journey to Kuang Si Waterfalls passing through the scenic Laotian countryside with rice paddies and small villages on your way. If time permits, you may get a chance to stop and visit the Khamu minority village of Ban Thapaene, and one of the H'mong villages along the way. Upon arrival enjoy a picnic or local style lunch, then let the natural beauty soak in as you encounter these incredible falls as they cascade over many calcified tiers and down several hundred feet into a series of cool, turquoise pools. If water levels permit, you will also have the opportunity to take a refreshing dip in the falls. Return to Luang Prabang in the mid-afternoon.

Mekong River Trip to Pak Ou Caves Pak Ou caves have been home to thousands of Buddha images placed here by locals since the 16th century when King Setthathirat found the caves and declared them a holy spot. Today, many people still pay respect to this tradition. After exploring the caves and lunch at a local restaurant nearby it's time to return to your boat and begin the journey back to Luang Prabang. Along the way it is possible to visit some of the other small villages on the banks of the Mekong River.

Dinner at Gallery Restaurant A combination of exquisite Lanna architecture, fine Thai cuisine, and exhibits of northern Thai art, the Gallery is the perfect setting for relaxation and entertainment during a stay in Chiang Mai. As the famed "Legendary American of Thailand" Jim Thompson, with his natural flair for design and color, gained worldwide recognition for his contributions to the development of the Thai Silk industry. River Kwai & Tiger Temple Experience fascinating insight into Thailand's World War II history.
